Q&A #4 with ATP Top 50 Jan-Lennard Struff

 

Jan-Lennard Struff has had a great start to the year with big wins over Bernard Tomic, Denis Istomin, Tommy Haas, Grigor Dimitrov, Gilles Simon and Jeremy Chardy. He has wins in the past against Stan Wawrinka and in early May be came very close to beating Rome Masters Champion Alexander Zverev in the Munich Open. He went down in a tight 3rd set tie break.

On tour since 2009 (aged 19) he has played in 17 ATP Challenger singles finals, winning 5 as well as playing 5 Davis Cup matches for Germany. He is now established himself as a top 50 player and will be a dangerous opponent to face especially on the European Clay.
